A poll released yesterday by AtlasIntel confirms a decline in President Lula’s (PT) approval ratings. For the first time since the start of Lula’s third term, his disapproval ratings surpassed approval beyond the margin of error, which is two percentage points. Yesterday, Finance Minister Fernando Haddad announced that the government has increased its projection for savings in 2025, following the fiscal package approved at the end of last year. The new estimates point to an impact of around R$ 34 billion. Today, Minister of Institutional Relations Alexandre Padilha will meet with allied party representatives to discuss the government’s legislative priorities.
