According to GEA-ISA's exit poll, Andrés Manuel López Obrador will become Mexico's next president with a wide margin over its closest competitors. Our data, based on more than 3,500 interviews in over 100 voting booths show the following results: AMLO: 48.6% (min 46.9%-max 50.2%)Ricardo Anaya: 27.6% (min. 26.1%-max 29.1%). José Antonio Meade: 20.5% (min 19.2%-max 21.9%).Jaime Rodríguez, el "Bronco" will reach 4.0% max. As we pointed out in previous reports, AMLO will receive a record vote if compared with every election since 1994.Gubernatorial electionsDifferent pollsters are sending results of their exit polls in the nine states that held gubernatorial elections. So far, Morena is likely to win in Mexico City, Morelos, Tabasco. Chiapas. There is still uncertainty in Veracruz (although one major pollster, Consulta Mitofsky, has already declared Morena the winner), and Puebla. Anaya's coalition, Por Mexico al Frente, will only win in Guanajuato. Movimiento Ciudadano will win in JaliscoYucatán is still close between the PRI and the PAN. CongressIt is still too early to know how Congress will be divided. However, it seems Morena and its coalition fall short of getting majority in either chamber.
