On March 13 President Lukashenko met his Iranian counterpart in Teheran. The two presidents signed an agreement on cooperation up to 2026. Belarus is not fighting in Ukraine but is allowing Russians to attack Ukraine via Belarus. Iran is part of Lukashenko's tour of the few authoritarian states that are willing to receive him. Iran has ever closer links with Russia. Iran has allegedly supplied drones to Russia in 2022. It admits supplying them before the war but not during it. Russia has reportedly given Iran captured NATO equipment to study.
