Sep 18 Mineral resources: In 4Q25, Canadian Laramide Resources will start exploratory drilling in southern Kazakhstan for uranium, REM and copper in 4Q25. Sep 22 Halyk Bank: The Bank will pay another $423.5 mln in dividends for 2024. KMG: The company and ExxonMobil have agreed to cooperate in the field of new technologies in the oil and gas sector. Satellite communications: US-based Amazon Kuiper intends to create a satellite communications hub in Kazakhstan, plans to invest $200 mln. President: Mr. Tokayev discussed cooperation in oil and gas projects with Chevron’s CEO Mr. Wirth. National railways: Kazakhstan Temir Zholy and American Wabtec plan to start production of diesel engines at the Astana Diesel Service plant in 2026. On top of that, the national railway company plans to purchase 300 freight locomotives from Wabtec for $4.2 bln. Food production: PepsiCo has started building a snack factory in Kazakhstan worth $368 mln. KMG: The company and Chevron signed a cooperation agreement worth $130 mln. President: Mr. Tokayev and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Mr. Lutnick discussed bilateral trade and economic cooperation. President: Mr. Tokayev said Kazakhstan is ready to strengthen cooperation with US companies in the agricultural sector. Sep 23 Ministry of Agriculture: Kazakhstan will harvest 24 mln tons of grain in 2025 (-9.4% y-o-y). President: Kazakhstan wants to expand the fleet of Boeing aircraft and open an Embraer service center. President: Kazakhstan intends to develop cooperation with the US in Tengiz, Kashagan and Karachaganak oil fields. NBK: The Bank launched the first stablecoin linked to KZT. Government: Kazakhstan to launch pilot project for tokenization ...
