Nov 25 US: According to US Ambassador to the country, Mr. Rosenblum, the United States is actively cooperating with Kazakhstan in the search for alternative routes for oil exports from the republic Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development: Kazakhstan has worked out the opening of the third border crossing on the border between Kazakhstan and China and the construction of a new railway line Bakhty (on the border with China) KMG: Kazakhstan is holding consultations with the EU, US, and UK due to the existing difficulties with the supply of equipment to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) KMG: Drilling at the Zhenis offshore field in the Caspian Sea is scheduled to begin on Dec 15. The total recoverable reserves of the "Kalamkas Sea" and "Khazar" fields are estimated at 67 mln tons of oil and 9 billion cm of gas. Nov 26 President: Kassym-Jomart Tokayev assumed the post of President of the country for the next seven years President: Kazakhstan will continue to pursue a balanced foreign policy, and priority attention will be paid to cooperation with neighboring countries - Russia, China, and Central Asian countries President: Elections to the Senate of Kazakhstan are scheduled for January 14, and to the Parliament - in June 2023 President: Mr. Tokayev signed a decree on measures to implement the election program "Fair Kazakhstan - for all and for everyone.
