Aug 13 US Department of Agriculture: The agency has raised its forecast for wheat exports from Kazakhstan in the current agricultural year (July 2026 to June 2027) from 9 to 10 mln tons. Aug 14 National pipeline company: Kazakh oil exports to Russian Ust‑Luga port were cut by 16.9% y-o-y, while exports to Russian Novorossiysk port increased by 3% y-o-y in July. National pipeline company: Oil shipments from Kazakhstan via the Atyrau–Samara oil pipeline in July decreased by 24.4% y-o-y. National pipeline company: Kazakh oil exports to China via the Atasu–Alashankou pipeline decreased in July by 18.3% y-o-y. National pipeline company: In July, KazTransOil doubled (in annual terms) oil shipments via the CPC pipeline. National pipeline company: KazTransOil increased oil shipments via Baku‑Tbilisi‑Ceyhan pipeline by 11.5% y-o-y in July. National pipeline company: Kazakhstan did not export oil to Germany in July. Energy ministry: A failure in the Central Asian power system has cut off power to several regions of Kazakhstan. Foreign ministry: The foreign ministers of Kazakhstan and Austria discussed the safety of Kazakhstan’s oil supplies to Europe via the CPC. Aug 17 Bureau of National Statistics: Kazakhstan’s foreign trade surplus increased by 22% y-o-y in 1H26.
