Aug 7 Prime Minister: Kazakhstan plans to raise $24.2 bln in the next 5 years for the repair of utility networks. Aug 8 Government: Construction of the first nuclear power plant has started in Kazakhstan. Aug 11 NBK: Kazakhstan's gross international reserves increased by 0.8% in July to $113.041 bln (+8% YTD). Aug 12 Bureau of National Statistics: Kazakhstan's GDP grew by 6.3% y-o-y in 7M25. OPEC+: Oil production by member countries increased in July by 330K bpd, which was below the plan by 50K bpd. Kazakhstan exceeded its quota by 440K bpd. Aug 13 Ministry of Digital Development: Starlink has started providing satellite Internet services in the country. Astana International Exchange: The Exchange has started trading shares of the first Bitcoin ETF. Aug 14 Tengizchevroil: The company increased oil production by 35% y-o-y in 1H25. Aug 15 S&P Global: Kazakhstan redirected oil from the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline to CPC due to contamination of Azerbaijani raw materials. Aug 18 Bureau of National Statistics: In 7M25, industrial production in Kazakhstan increased by 6.9% y-o-y. Bureau of National Statistics: Agricultural production in Kazakhstan increased by 3.7% y-o-y in 7M25. Bureau of National Statistics: Investments in production capacity grew by 16.1% y-o-y in 7M25. Bureau of National Statistics: Cargo turnover in Kazakhstan increased by 12% y-o-y in 7M25. KMG: In 7M25, Kazakhstan supplied 1.1 mln tons of oil to Germany, 0.9 mln tons to Azerbaijan, and 0.085 mln tons to Hungary. KMG: In 7M25, the company increased oil and condensate production by 9% y-o-y.
