Big Political Action might Reveal Authorities’ Intentions

Tomorrow, on October 17 there will be a big political action (demonstration) in support of reforms. At least it was advertised as a big one. In fact it will be a critical day for those who still are struggling for changes at the country. Reformation zeal has faded. Elites are returning to “business as usual” regime. Successful Eurobonds placement eased pressure on decision-makers. Everyone is curious how serious President and Prime-minister are when talking about reforms’ commitment. Tomorrow the demonstrators will be demanding: (a) anti-corruption court, (b) change of the election law and (c) cancellation of immunity for MPs. None can predict how the event will unfold however both the authorities and activists are seriously preparing for tomorrow actions. In fact the next few days will tell us a lot in what direction the country is moving.
