The Febraban said that it does not like high interest rates, would like predictability and that it is willing to establish dialog, while President Jair Bolsonaro said he wants transparency in the voting process and criticized the PT. Today, former President Lula will participate in a debate at the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (Fiesp). President Jair Bolsonaro canceled his participation in the debate, which was scheduled for Thursday. On August 8, the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) denied a request from the Ministry of Defense to access documents related to the two rounds of the 2014 and 2018 elections. The TSE stated that the deadline for this type of request has already expired.
