The extended holiday (April 18–21) is expected to slow activity in the Legislative branch. On Tuesday, April 15, the government will send the Budget Guidelines Bill (PLDO) to Congress. The government is also expected to file the Public Security Constitutional Amendment Proposal (PEC). The União Brasil party is discussing a leadership change in the Lower House and the appointment of Pedro Lucas (MA) to the Ministry of Communications.
