Casa Verde e Amarela program marks a new phase in the social area

In a ceremony held at the Planalto Palace, President Jair Bolsonaro signed the provisional measure that creates the new government’s housing program – Casa Verde e Amarela – replacing Minha Casa, Minha Vida. President Bolsonaro has restructured and changed the names of programs that were the hallmarks of PT administrations. In 2019, the government launched the Médicos pelo Brasil in place of Mais Médicos, created in the government of former President Dilma Rousseff. Taking advantage of the increase in popularity in the North and Northeast regions that was made possible mainly by the impact of emergency aid, the Jair Bolsonaro government, in renaming programs from the PT era such as Mais Médicos, Bolsa Família and Minha Casa, Minha Vida is creating a brand for the current management.
