Central Bank keeps monetary policy interest rate unchanged

The monetary policy interest rate will remain unchanged for the ninth consecutive month, according to the decision taken yesterday by the Central Bank. In August 2024, the monetary policy interest rate will be 7% per year, while the permanent liquidity expansion facility rate (1-day Repos) and the remunerated deposit rate (Overnight) will remain unchanged at 7.50% per year and 5.50% per year, respectively.
