The Centrão is pushing for more space in the government. Andre Fufuca (PP) and Silvio Costa Filho (Republicanos) are the most likely members of Congress to be chosen to become ministers. A change in the ministerial team is expected in August but the exact changes have not yet been decided. Yesterday, the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, once again spoke about changes in the income tax. This time, he mentioned that a bill should be sent to Congress on the taxation of exclusive investment funds, affecting the richest Brazilians. Planning Minister Simone Tebet gave some positive comments regarding the first half of the year. However, she said that work will not be easy in August given the need to vote on the fiscal framework and the Budget Guidelines Law (LDO).
