Executive Summary This week we are dedicating our Political Outlook section entirely to the results of the most recent quarterly survey of voter opinion conducted by GEA-ISA, entitled “Mexico: Politics, society and change.” One of the most striking aspects of the most recent poll was the considerable erosion of presidential approval compared to the survey conducted three months ago. In March, 55% of those surveyed said that President Enrique Peña Nieto was doing a good job, a much lower level of support than his two predecessors enjoyed at this point in their respective administrations.
