The House approved a bill that requires companies in the energy sector to send data regarding the composition of the prices of their products, such as the average cost of producing oil and natural gas, to the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP). Deputies also approved the urgent status of PLP 62/2015, which prevents the ICMS tax from being levied on the extra amount charged on electricity usage fees. Senator Fernando Bezerra is expected to submit his report on PLP 18 today, which classifies energy, telecommunications, transportation and fuel services as essential. Two polls on the presidential elections were published today, one from PoderData and another from Quaest/Genial. The deadline for workers to reserve funds from the FGTS to purchase Eletrobras shares ends today.
