Congress resumes its activities today. The current legislative session will run through July 17. Today, President Lula is expected to sign the Mercosur-European Union agreement and send it to Congress for consideration. The goal is to vote on the agreement this semester. In the Senate, two governors will appear before the Organized Crime CPI. On Tuesday Federal District Governor Ibaneis Rocha (MDB) will testify, and on Wednesday, Rio de Janeiro Governor Cláudio Castro will appear.
