Daughter of pro-Putin nationalist thinker killed in Moscow

On August 22 Daria Dugina was assassinated. It is thought the bomb that blew up her car was intended to kill her father, who is a pro-Putin nationalist philosopher. Alexander Dugin was due to travel in the car and at the last moment decided not to. Russia has blamed Ukraine for the slaying. Ukraine denied involvement. So far Ukraine has not tried to kill people in Russia but only to blow up facilities. Western support for Ukraine is faltering in terms of arms shipments and financial aid. Some in Russia think that Putin is not fighting hard enough. There is disappointment that Russia has conquered only 10% of Ukraine in 6 months. Russia is appealing for more men to volunteer for the army, offering very enticing salaries of USD 5,700 per month.
