Deputy Claudio Cajado (PP-BA), the rapporteur of the new fiscal framework, is expected to submit his report by tomorrow. But he may postpone the submission depending on when the vote is scheduled. In the Senate, the government is trying to avoid a defeat on the sanitation decrees similar to what happened in the House. The leader of the majority in the Senate, Renan Calheiros (MDB), and the leader of the PSD, Otto Alencar, indicated that they will probably defend the maintenance of the Executive's measures. The Joint Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry (CPMI) on the January 8 attacks still has no definitive date for installation. Yesterday, the leader of the government in Congress, Senator Randolfe Rodrigues (AP-Rede), said the installation could take place next week, on Tuesday, May 16.
