Deputy Luiz Fernando Faria (PSD-MG) may submit his report on the provisional measure (MP) 1185/23, which deals with the ICMS subsidy, today. Since this is the government's top priority, there is a lot of pressure on Congress. A session of Congress is scheduled for tomorrow, but activities in Brasília are very slow at the moment. The vote on the bill dealing with online sports betting, which was scheduled for today, was postponed once again until next week. Today, the Supreme Federal Court (STF) will adjudicate the Direct Act of Unconstitutionality (ADI), filed by the Communist Party of Brazil (PCdoB), against a rule of the State-Owned Companies Law that restricts the appointment of counselors and directors.
