Every year around this time we do a Q&A with a senior Philippines government official to close out the year and publish a Special Report with conclusions from the interview. This year, in light of what we think is high market interest at this time in US Fed actions and EM central bank responses, we sought an interview with BSP Governor Amando Tetangco, who has agreed to meet us in early December. We are planning to pose questions about his outlook on the local economy and probable policy responses, including his thinking on the role of macroprudential regulations, as well as his thoughts on medium term evolution of monetary policy under an ASEAN banking integration framework. We were wondering if you have any questions you want us to ask the governor. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Please send us your questions/comments by responding to this post using GlobalSource’s web communications system GSPDirect. If you prefer your question to remain private, instead of responding to the post, please initiate a new comment to us. Thanks a lot, everyone, for your help.
