Drone attack on Kyiv does minimal damage

On July 12 Kyiv was attacked by 11 Russian drones for the second night in a row. Ukraine said it destroyed all 11. No casualties were reported in Kyiv.On July 11 Kyiv was attacked by 26 drones and Ukraine claimed to have shot them all down.On July 12 in another city 2 civilians were wounded by the drones. Ukraine also said that a grain facility in the Port of Odessa was targeted by drones. Russia may well end the Black Sea Grain Initiative (BSGI) and it trying to make it impossible for Ukraine to export grain even with the BSGI.Ukraine might be exaggerating its level of success and underplaying the losses it is suffering from drones. But tellingly, Russia is not boasting about very successful drone attacks.Why is Russia persisting when they are so ineffective? It is a way of maintaining pressure on Ukraine. Perhaps sometimes Russia will get lucky and destroy something significant.
