Drone strikes on Crimea

On March 21 Russia claimed the attack hit a civilian target and wounded one person. However, Ukraine said that the strike hit Kalibr missiles that were being transported by rail. If that is true then Russia is partly correct inasmuch as the railroad is civilian infrastructure. There have been no Ukrainian attacks on Russia proper while Xi is there because perhaps that would be provocative to China. March 19 was the anniversary of Russia's 2014 annexation of Crimea. Russia usually celebrates this with enormous fanfare. However, Russia has de-emphasized it this year. That is perhaps because the contrast between the ease with which Russia took Crimea and the grueling current war could not be greater.
