Finally… the Cabinet increased gas prices

I never imagined that I would be glad to learn about my heating bill growing by almost ¼. But that’s what is happening. The Cabinet decision about a 23.5% gas price increase from October 1 was long-awaited and it’s a signal that the IMF deal is on its way. Approval of budget 2019 still on the list-to-do but this requirement will be completed one way or another. Critical issue – gas prices – has been resolved, and we should expect one more wire from the IMF till the end of the year.Now all eyes on the elections. Political price of this move will be high. Opponents of President Poroshenko are happy to collect political dividends these days.
