From Istanbul, with confusion

This week’s political essays are not very informative, because there are several technical glitches in poll averages, which the politics author uses as his primary reference material. He still remains very confident that Kilicdaroglu will cross the finish line ahead of Erdogan in the second round. However, he may have to change slightly his scenarios regarding parliamentary elections. He hopes to come up with his final prediction for the latter via a mid-week post, which should also contain a broader sample of seat simulations.

All this being said, there is no agency that polls that either of the alliances will obtain the simple majority of 301 seats in the Grand Assembly. Because Turkish pollster KONDA is well-known to our readers, its latest poll, obtained from press leaks is also presented in summary form, though the politics author is skeptical about its accuracy.
