Guedes minimizes differences with Maia and shows optimism

During his participation in a video conference today, Minister of the Economy Paulo Guedes, sought to minimize his differences with the President of the Lower House, Rodrigo Maia (DEM-RJ). According to Guedes, his “misalignment” with Maia is “natural” in light of their differences over the debate on Tax Reform, for example.
He also showed optimism regarding the economic projections. He believes the dip in the economy this year will be even smaller than current predictions, and that economic activity is recovering faster than even he expected.
