As expected, in a matter of hours, the Senate voted for the bill on political parties approved the previous day by the Chamber of Representatives. Today, President Medina signed the bill. In our next monthly report, we will provide an account of the law, as well as an analysis of winners and losers.In a different matter, on Sunday the march against corruption and impunity called by Marcha Verde was attended by thousands. Regardless of the exact number of participants, which, as expected, is been minimized by PLD supporters, it was a very successful rally from the standpoint of organizers. General perception is that participation was very high and many were surprised by number of people that attended. We will also discuss the issue in our next report.
