To replace Galipolo at the Treasury's executive secretariat, Haddad chose Dario Durigan, who has already worked with him as a special advisor in the city of São Paulo. The next Copom meeting to decide interest rates will be held on June 20 and 21. After the defeat of the sanitation decree, the Minister of the Institutional Relations Secretariat, Alexandre Padilha, is organizing meetings with the MDB, PSD, PSB, and União Brasil to try to identify the reasons for their dissatisfaction. Senate President Rodrigo Pacheco disagreed with the federal government's decision to file a case in the STF to review Eletrobras's privatization rules and obtain more decision-making power in the company.
