Fernando Haddad did not confirm the date of the announcement of the spending package but assured that it will happen this week. Planning Minister Simone Tebet stated that it is highly unlikely to occur today. Yesterday, Arthur Lira commented on the criticism leveled last week against Latin American animal proteins—particularly those from Brazil—by Carrefour’s CEO in France, Alexandre Bompard. Lira has scheduled a working lunch meeting with leaders today to discuss voting on a bill addressing economic reciprocity between countries. Additionally, a meeting of the Joint Budget Committee of the National Congress is scheduled today to discuss the progress of the 2025 Budget Guidelines Law (LDO) and the Annual Budget Law (LOA) bills.
