Yesterday, the Minister of Institutional Relations, Alexandre Padilha, presented the federal government's priorities to the President of the Lower House, Deputy Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), during a meeting in the deputy’s office, alongside party leaders. The agenda is divided into six pillars. In a radio interview, Lula spoke about oil exploration in the Amazon region. He said the back-and-forth with the federal agency Ibama needs to end and that the agency cannot appear to be working against the government. Last Saturday, the Brazilian Association of Motor Vehicle Drivers (Abrava) held a meeting to discuss truckers' demands. A statement was released indicating the possibility of a national strike.
