After several months of friction and disagreements, Jean Paul Prates has been fired from Petrobras. This is a victory for the Minister of Mines and Energy, Alexandre Silveira, who publicly argued with Jean Paul Prates. According to the president of the House, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), the members of the Working Group on Tax Reform regulation have already been chosen. The group could be announced today and will have 40 to 50 days to deliver a final report. The House approved a complementary bill that suspends the payment plan of Rio Grande do Sul's federal debt for 36 months. The text should be analyzed in the Senate today.
