Justice Ricardo Lewandowski responded to the PCdoB's request for an injunction and suspended parts of the State-Owned Companies Law that restrict the appointment of politicians to management positions. He is the rapporteur for the case in the STF that questions the law. Today, the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, presents the new fiscal framework to President Lula. The bill should be submitted to Congress next week before President Lula travels to China. Today is the deadline set by the President of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), for senators to sign or withdraw support for the creation of a Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry (CPI) on the January 8 attacks. The government is against the CPI.
