The President of the House, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), has scheduled a Congressional session for this week but has allowed for virtual attendance. In other words, the session can be attended remotely by the deputies. Today, the Parliamentary Front for Entrepreneurship (FPE) will meet with the Special Secretary of the Federal Revenue Service, Robinson Barreirinhas, to discuss Provisional Measure No. 1,262/24, which establishes a minimum tax of 15% on the profits of multinational companies based in Brazil, along with an additional Social Contribution on Net Profit (CSLL). Also today, the Senate’s Economic Affairs Committee (CAE) is holding a public hearing this afternoon to discuss the impact of Tax Reform concerning the “Transition and Oversight” process. The rapporteur in the Constitution and Justice Committee, Eduardo Braga, will present his timeline tomorrow.
