On Monday, during an event at the São Paulo Commercial Association, Lira said that the government does not have enough support to approve bills that require a simple majority. He said he is waiting for the government to organize itself. The opposition is still pushing for the installation of a Joint CPI on the January 8 attacks. The government is against it and is trying to prevent it. The Chief of Staff, Rui Costa, said that the Lula government will analyze the possibility of signing the decree regulating the legal framework for sanitation next week, which should replace rules established in the Bolsonaro government.
