The president of the House, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), is expected to announce the creation, composition, rapporteur, and agenda of the Working Group on PLP nº 68/24, the government's first proposal to regulate Tax Reform. According to Lira, the goal is to approve all regulations before Congress recesses in July. Senators and deputies will participate in a session of the National Congress this Thursday, May 9, to analyze presidential vetoes. The Supreme Federal Court (STF) resumes the adjudication, on Wednesday, May 8, of the Direct Act of Unconstitutionality (ADI) submitted by the Communist Party of Brazil (PCdoB) that questions the state-owned companies law.
