The president of the House, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), is meeting with governors today to discuss Tax Reform. After the meeting, the rapporteur's report is expected to be submitted. There are still many questions and resistance to the text. As expected, Cristiano Zanin was approved by the Senate and will assume a seat on the Supreme Federal Court (STF). The score was expressive, with 58 votes in favor and 18 against. The Senate approved the fiscal framework. The amendments loosen the text that came from the House, which increases market uncertainty about the ability of the new fiscal framework to reduce the debt/GDP ratio. The text will have to return to the House.
