Lira will try to approve the CBS and IBS Tax Reform bill this week, the CCJ will analyze two PECs, and Pacheco may submit a bill on state debt

This week, the president of the House, Arthur Lira, will try to facilitate the approval of the so-called “consumption reform” (Complementary Bill No. 68/24). The report of the Working Group was presented last week. The president of the Senate Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJ), Davi Alcolumbre (União Brasil-AP), has scheduled for Wednesday, July 10, the analysis of two Constitutional Amendment Proposals (PECs). The first is PEC No. 65/2023, which grants financial and budgetary autonomy to the Central Bank. The other PEC refers to the Timeframe Framework (PEC No. 48/23). The president of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), may present a bill on the renegotiation of state debts with the Federal Government.
