One of President Lula's interviews has once again caused market disturbances. Yesterday, in an interview with the news outlet UOL, Lula stated that it is not possible to unlink the Continuous Payment Benefit (BPC) and pensions from the minimum wage appreciation policy. Regarding the regulation of Tax Reform, the president of the House, Arthur Lira, said that the report from the Working Group discussing the measure will be released on July 3. He intends to take the bill to the plenary between July 10 and 12. Today, President Lula will chair a meeting of the Council for Economic and Social Development (CDES), at which the Mover Program bill (PL 914/2024) and the taxation of imports up to $50 will be sanctioned.
