Five names are expected to be announced today. According to Aloizio Mercadante, after the announcement, the ministers will start giving interviews and will reveal the structure of their ministries. Next week, the Transition PEC will begin its analysis process in the House. The PEC approved by the Senate raised the spending ceiling by R$ 145 billion for a period of two years, in 2023 and 2024. Next Monday, President-elect Lula (PT) and Vice President-elect Geraldo Alckmin (PSB) will be confirmed. The ceremony will take place at the headquarters of the TSE.
