Today, President Lula will meet with the president of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), and party leaders. The objective of the meeting is to improve the relationship between the Executive Office and the National Congress. Yesterday, Minister Fernando Haddad said that the government's idea is to send the Tax Reform bills to Congress in March. The Ministry of Finance created several working groups to discuss the Reform regulations. A new conflict between the president of the Central Bank, Roberto Campos Neto, and the PT involves the financial autonomy of the Central Bank.
