Today, President Lula will meet with the leaders of the three branches of government and the Minister of Defense, José Múcio. The tone of the conversation should be one of alignment, especially within the military. Minister of Finance Fernando Haddad will travel to Buenos Aires with Lula next week to participate in the summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac). The delegation is also going to Montevideo, Uruguay. Next week will be devoted to negotiations around the formation of party blocs in both houses of Congress. The blocs will define the distribution of leadership positions and committees of the two houses.
