Marco Rubio's most excellent trip to Jamaica

From a Jamaican government perspective at least, Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s trip to Jamaica could not have gone better. At his post-meeting press conference with the Jamaican Prime Minister, issues ranging from our use of Cuban doctors and the current negative US travel advisory were all dealt with positively, and security and economic cooperation and potential investment opportunities between the United States and Jamaica were promised. Later that day, Rubio also met with Barbadian Prime Minister Mia Mottley (also head of Caricom) and new Trinidadian Prime Minister Stuart Young, as well as leaders of the Haitian government.
