Moscow reintroduces coronavirus restrictions

On September 25 Moscow City asked people to work from home where possible from September 28. People over 65 are asked to stay inside as much as possible. The city is responding to 1,000 + cases of coronavirus being confirmed on September 24. This is the worst since June. The number of people admitted to hospital for the disease went up 30% in one week.Shops have already been fined and in some cases closed for not enforcing mask rules. Everyone expected a rise in cases in the fall. Moscow is worst affected among the cities. Note that the new rules are for Moscow only. Each region can make up its own rules. The situation is very different in remote regions. Russia has 1.1 million cases but has suffered only 19,000 deaths.
