New Federal Police Operation targets Lula

The Federal Police (PF) is currently at the home of former President Lula. This is the 24th chapter of the Lava-Jato Operation. The PF is also at the house of Lula’s son, as well as in the Lula Institute, the farm in Atibaia and the apartment in Guarujá, both allegedly his.

Lula is also the target of forceful testimony by the Federal Police. He had been called for questioning before, but denied the invitation to speak to the authorities. Now, he has no choice.

This new chapter of the Lava-Jato Operation takes place after a busy week in Brasília, which included the change in the Ministry of Justice and the plea deal of former Senator Delcídio do Amaral (PT).

This new stage reaffirms the deepening of the political crisis and the cornering of the government, weakened and controlled by new negative facts emerging every day, forcing a crisis management mode since the beginning of the mandate.
