Next week, Lira will hold a meeting with Fernando Haddad to discuss the bill that deals with the ICMS subsidy. The text had been sent through a provisional measure but was poorly received by Congress. There continues to be resistance regarding the content of the article. We will have another holiday next week, on Thursday, November 2, All Souls' Day. For this reason, there will be a shorter week in the Legislature. Even so, there are important topics on the agenda for next week. In the economic area, the highlight is the meeting next week of the Central Bank's Monetary Policy Committee to decide the basic interest rate. The expectation is for a reduction from 12.75% to 12.25%.
