Next week will likely be busy in Brasília, even though the president of the House, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), and the Tax Reform rapporteur, Aguinaldo Ribeiro (PP-PB), are attending the Climate Conference of Nations Nations (COP28), in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. In the Senate, the Economic Affairs Committee of the Senate will meet on Tuesday, December 5, with José Levi Mello do Amaral Júnior, Camila Cabral Pires Alves, Diogo Thomson de Andrade, and Carlos Jacques Vieira Gomes, appointed as Advisors of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE). In the STF, a Direct Act of Unconstitutionality (ADI) presented by the PCdoB may be analyzed on Wednesday, December 6, against a provision of the State-Owned Companies Law that restricts appointments of counselors and directors who hold certain public positions.
