The income tax bill will now be sent to the Senate for further analysis. The government faces some issues in the Senate, so the income tax bill may be difficult to pass. President Bolsonaro is arguing that the Constitution says that the ICMS tax rate must be the same throughout the nation and can only differ by product. Next week will be important for Bolsonaro and the STF. Bolsonaro has said that he will attend demonstrations both in Brasilia and São Paulo on September 7. The STF will continue the analysis of the Temporal Framework.
