Poland is entering a risky phase where an escalating rule‑of‑law crisis, open conflict between the government, the president and the central bank, and renewed inflation from a fuel shock all converge on an economy that still grows on the back of strong consumer demand but suffers from weak investment and a plateauing industrial base. Political polls suggest that, despite the current KO‑led coalition’s lead, the right‑wing camp is structurally favored to return to power in 2027, raising the risk of abrupt policy reversals in justice, economic strategy and relations with the EU.
