Today, President Lula begins his first international trip after taking office. He will meet with the president of Argentina, Alberto Fernández, and have other bilateral meetings. Brazil is expected to sign bilateral agreements and a memorandum of understanding with Argentina. Tomorrow, January 24, Lula will participate in the summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac). With one week left until the return of legislative work, there has also been some movement in the House as Arthur Lira seeks to guarantee his re-election. He is expected to meet with the caucuses of the House to submit his candidacy.
