President Lula may meet this week with the president of the House, Arthur Lira, to discuss ministerial reform. The PP and Republicanos expect a decision in the coming days. This week, the House may vote on the new fiscal framework. Today, the rapporteur, Deputy Cláudio Cajado (PP-BA), will meet with party leaders and government technicians to assess the edits made in the Senate. On Wednesday, August 16, the Economic Development Committee (CDE) of the House may vote on Deputy Any Ortiz's (Cidadania-RS) report on the bill that extends payroll tax exemptions until 2027.
