Putin says Russia suffers colossal tech problems due to sanctions

On July 18 Putin said that Russia would surmount the problems caused by sanctions. He said the situation was, ''hugely challenging''. This will please the West. ''We cannot develop in isolation'' added Putin. Apple, Microsoft, Intel and other tech companies ended operations in Russia in March 2022. In July 2022 non-tech companies such as H&M and Lego exited Russia. The Institute of International Finance said the Russian economy will shrink 15% in 2022. This will make it much harder to finance tech.
